Nursery and Reception
The early learning goals (ELGs) are an important way of assessing and tracking children's progress at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The ELGs describe the standard that a child is expected to achieve by the end of reception. They are used alongside the seven areas of learning to allow EYFS practitioners to assess and track young children's development.
